About The Luster
All my fine art prints are printed on the finest quality
photographic paper. This paper the choice of industry
professionals the world over. The paper has a quality
matte finish that captures everynuance of tone. Each
print is museum archival quality which means it will
not fade and should maintain its original tones for years.
Each print is signed and dated by me in the bottom right
hand corner. I write the name of the print in the bottom
left hand corner.
Matting
All my photos are available unmatted and matted. Matting
refers to the protective surround that a print should be
mounted on before it is framed. By matting photos, the
print is kept away from the glass once framed and so
heat/moisture transfer from the glass to the print is avoinded.
Matting helps to prolong the longevityof the print whilst
also giving aesthetic benefitsto the photograph. Put simply,
a matted print looks much more pleasing on the eye than
the
unmatted counterpart. I mount all my matted photos on
a hinged
backboard with the mat then placed over the top.
More details
on matting can be found here. Should you
require any further
assistance on the formatting of the photos,
please contact me.
Packing and Delivery
All my photos are shipped in secure packaging. I go to
great lengths to ensure that your print arrives as fantastic as it did when it
left my studio. Larger unmatted photos are packaged in a cardboard tube.
Everything else is shipped flat in appropriately sized, robust cardboard boxes.
You may choose to have your photos delivered by FedEx, UPS
or US mail. Please note that matted photos may require special delivery.
Additional shipping charges may apply.
